Auberge Resorts Collections, known for properties such as Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley and Hotel Jerome in Aspen, is moving into the Fort Lauderdale real estate market. Jorge Pérez, president of the Related Group, says of the new 171-unit beachfront condominium property that it is “by far” the most luxurious project in Florida’s Broward County.
Units in the new two-building project will range from 1500 to 5000 square feet and priced from $1.5 to $9 million. The luxurious buildings will also feature a world-class spa, restaurant, indoor-outdoor lounge, swimming pools and gardens. Additional amenities include a library, fitness center and children’s playroom, as well as a curated contemporary art collection, on display throughout the common spaces and grounds.
Fort Lauderdale, a city once known more for the bevy of spring-break revelers that flocked there, is in the midst of a comeback, thanks in large part to a spate of willing investors attracted by its location. Known around the world as a premier yachting destination, Fort Lauderdale earned its nickname of “The Venice of America” because of the 300 miles of crystal blue waterways that wind inland through a landscape of tropical foliage, private estates, and destinations for fine dining and entertainment. Its downtown boasts a thriving art scene, fantastic shopping and world-class dining.
The properties within the Auberge Beach Residences & Spa collection are endowed with a distinctive character that will help owners and guests alike foster memories they’ll treasure for years to come. Construction on the project began this year and is scheduled for completion in 2017.
