As a world leader in luxury hotels and resorts, the Four Seasons has announced plans for its first luxury resort and private residences in Los Cabos, Mexico. Situated on the pristine beaches of the Baja shore, the Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas is slated to open in 2018. As part of the exclusive Costa Palmas Resort Community, and in conjunction with Irongate real estate development, the Four Seasons in Cabo will feature a private marina, members-only beach and yacht club and two miles of spectacular white-sand beaches along the swimmable waters of the Sea of Cortez.
As the third addition to the company’s growing Mexican collection, the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas will feature a 145-key hotel as well as a collection of whole-ownership oceanfront, marina-side and golf-side private residences, and an intimate collection of custom single-family beachfront private residence villas.
According to J. Allen Smith, President and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, “Los Cabos has long been a favorite destination for luxury travelers and is a natural fit for Four Seasons as we extend our presence in Mexico. We look forward to inviting our guests from around the world to experience Four Seasons legendary quality and service as they discover the richness and beauty of Baja’s East Cape.”
As part of Costa Palmas, a 1000-acre private beachfront resort community in Los Cabos, owners and guests of the Four Seasons will have privileged access to a Robert Trent Jones II 18-hole golf course, multiple pools, indoor and outdoor event facilities, five exceptional dining options, full-service spa and progressive fitness facilities. The grounds of the Four Seasons Resort will connect to an adjacent marina with two hundred slips to accommodate yachts up to 250 feet. An ocean-side marina village will anchor the marina, complete with shopping boutiques, additional dining options and local entertainment and art.
With the East Cape’s idyllic setting along the crystal waters of the Sea of Cortez., the Four Seasons at Costa Palmas also provides access to endless opportunities for water adventures. Here, guests will enjoy snorkeling, windsurfing, kite boarding, diving and some of the world’s best sport fishing. Land adventures in the nearby Sierra de la Laguna Mountains provide hiking, biking, waterfalls, horseback riding and hot springs.
