Explore the open seas with what may be the coolest watercraft for the average (wealthy) Joe Blow ever. Imagine cruising around at 200 ft below the sea with the whales and dolphins! As easy to operate as a boat or even a jet ski, the new DeepFlight Dragon Submersible can dive as deep as 400 feet below the surface of an ocean or a lake. This two-man submarine is controlled with a lever and a joystick, so if you’ve ever played a video games, you can manage the DeepFlight Dragon.
Weighing the same as most full size cars and only 15ft in length, the Dragon is able to fit on more yachts than any other submarine on the market, with little or no retrofit required. Quad brushless DC thrusters and an underwater lithium battery pack give you quiet, efficient operation for up to six hours between charges.
The Dragon and the Super Falcom are designed with tandem seating, and each cockpit has its own set of controls. On the Dragon, there are two sets of vertical propellers: one set in the front and one at the stern which allows it to hover over the water like a helicopter.
The Dragon weighs about 4,000 pounds and is 16 feet long. It is available with custom trailers and launches that can make it as easy to transport as it is to operate. The Dragon is very buoyant, so that in the event of a problem that shuts down the thrusters, it will simply float to the surface.
