The Miami Boat Show, which takes place from February 16-20th, 2017, is good for checking out the latest and greatest in boating, which means there’s plenty on offer beyond just boats. Gadgets are also the name of the game, and this year Cayago AG is showing off its SEABOB F5 SR. This state-of-the-art underwater camera utilizes new camera technology to make it an ultra-fast underwater camera, enabling users to record extremely high resolution images below deck.
A full high definition camera in the prow of SEABOB documents the driver’s point of view, along with an action “selfie” cam that’s integrated into the information display. Using a proprietary SEABOB app, videos can be transmitted directly to mobile devices. There’s also a new feature, updated from older editions, called “Performance Raise.” The performance upgrade turns SEABOB F5 SR into the fastest scooter/camera on market by adding an extra power level, increasing thrust by 10 percent and utilizing two tail fins for greater streamlining. With image technology progressing by leaps and bounds at the drop of a hat, underwater adventurers will want to stay on the cusp of new developments. SEABOB allows drivers to whiz around while simultaneously documenting the wonders of the aquatic world below them.
